Best Practices for artists

Can we have a code of conduct or set of “Best Practices” that every artist should read and agree to when signing up. These should include just a few things and Im sure the community can offer other suggestions in the X group but the obvious ones for me are like how often to post (so we dont get a spam wall of one artist) and that the descriptive tagging needs to be honest. If the AI tool was used in the creation of a piece then the label should be included. Its misleading to collectors on the platform to omit it and personally I find it disrespectful to the craft of an illustrator if someone calls an ai piece just an “illustration” (which I see someone is still doing) - Sorry to keep kicking this dead horse, but I do feel quite strongly about it.

I think it’s important for the community to have these guidelines, if we are a serious art platform then collectors and artists should know when they come here that they know what they are experiencing.

    Exactly I dont think it should be something that needs external policing but should be inculcated into the culture of Remx artists - for the sake of their collector community. Im quite sure that other artists/photographers/etc using traditional means would also appreciate being able to stand apart in the mix of media and not have their skills sets lost amongst the AI category which is extraordinarily powerful.

    Hi Dan,

    Thanks for your product feedback. You raise two important issues:

    1. Posting frequency limits. Our Content Guidelines currently suggest "Should not post more than 1-2 times per day." While most users follow this guideline, there are no technical limits on post frequency. Though only a small number of users currently exceed these guidelines, we can implement guardrails to limit posting frequency if this becomes more widespread.

    2. Deceptive tagging of moments. This is a valid concern. While we don't currently perform automated checks on moments, we could implement AI detection and auto-tagging in the future. However, these detection systems aren't 100% accurate, which risks incorrectly flagging non-AI content.
