This is an issue we are aware of where some devices (mainly iOS devices) don’t handle the image data properly and doesn’t auto rotate it where needed. We are currently working on a fix for this which should be released in on of our upcoming releases.
In the meantime I was advised by one of the other developers that you could try putting it through an image editor and rotating it how you want it before you export it.
Let me know if that works for you
I apologize for the inconvenience and we will try to get that fix in as soon as we can.

Hey again,
It’s hard to say without knowing the image editing software you are using. If you are just altering with just the editing tools for photos baked into the phone (like just editing the photo directly through the photo album, not using a third party app), it might not be enough. It may alter the internal photo data to rotate it to show currently on your phone, but not what is needed for browsers. If it is a third party application you are using for editing, again its hard to say because we dont know what you are using, or how the app may even work.
Is it possible to try editing/re-uploading on a desktop device? I believe that should have a better chance of using the correct internal photo data that browsers are looking for.
I apologize for the inconvenience of all this. We are working hard on a fix to remedy all this so it all works across the board.
